Maddie LeMire—Winemaker

Maddie’s passion for wine began in 2018 with vintage at Brokenwood in the Hunter Valley. She later completed a Bachelor in Viticulture and Oenology, with vintages at Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey in Burgundy, Shaw + Smith in the Adelaide Hills, and Bekkers and Yangarra in McLaren Vale. Her experience also spans hospitality at Mothervine and distribution for small-batch South Australian labels like Elderslie and Quin Wines.

At Forlak Wines, Maddie combines her winemaking expertise with an attentive approach, staying connected to the fruit throughout every stage. Inspired by both great Australian wines and the fine wines of Burgundy and Bordeaux, she is dedicated to producing the highest quality wine.
